“ Went here with a friend and had a nice overall experience. The owner was really kind, and it was honestly sweet seeing two little girls there (I think they were his daughters). The older one was feeding the younger one and chatting with her, and the little one was sitting on her sister — super wholesome. <3 There were toys around too, which was nice to see. I had a good conversation with the owner about fees and stuff, and he was very friendly. For food, I got the ginger beef lunch special. The flavour was very good and mostly delicious, but there was very little beef compared to the amount of onion and pepper — I had a whole pile left over. One piece was pretty chewy, but the rest was good. :) My friend got the basil popcorn chicken lunch special and enjoyed it. That had copious amounts of chicken lol. I wasn’t a fan of the spring roll though. It tasted like it was mostly cabbage. The spring roll and pop were $4 extra on top of the combo, which felt a bit much. One small thing I didn’t love was that the chopsticks were placed pointed-end up in the bamboo holder with the napkin, and when I asked for a fork it was set the same way. Not a huge deal, but noticeable. Overall, the food was tasty and the service was kind. I’d probably go again, though I do wish my portion had more meat. ”

“ Decided to finally try chop chop ! Owners are friendly and had their daughter there which was perfect because we came with our toddler . They played together while we waited for our food. Family owned, comfortable and very relaxing to be there. We did take out because we had plans but next time would like to sit in! ”

“ It's a solid family run spot for a quick lunch or dinner. We had eggplants with meat and ginger beef both were quite good. The portions are generous, but the atmosphere was not super cozy. I'm only the fence between 4 and 5 ⭐. I'll get back again to decide)) ”

“ Stumbled upon this family run spot last night thanks to a friend's recommendation and we were all so glad to have tried it. The atmosphere feels very homey, service is great and the food is delicious + reasonably priced. We tried a bunch of vegetarian & non-vegetarian dishes to share (because they can modify the dishes and make them vegetarian) which was amazing. Got some great recommendations from the chef and our personal favourites were: Shanghai noodles, featured egg noodles (got them made vegetarian), braised eggplant (both veg and non-vegetarian) and general Tso chicken! Can't wait to go back very soon!! ”

“ Fantastic General Tao’s chicken! We love the rest of menu with other standouts including the dumplings, hot/sour soup, green beans and Taiwanese chicken. Honestly just solid food made with care. The owner is super chill with a small family. He had good and honest recommendations. Will continue to support! ”

“ This place had one of the best General Tao chicken dishes I’ve ever had. I was genuinely in love with it, highly recommend ordering it. Overall Chop Chop was a great experience, the food was really good. The service from the guys working there is great and it’s a great spot to visit when it’s warm because they’ve got nice outdoor seating. The other dishes I enjoyed was the Dumplings, the noodles and the pancake. I feel like there’s a lot more to try in this place the menu looked great, definitely will be going back to try more!Highly recommend this place, I really enjoyed it. ”

“ Yesterday, I was having a really great noodle soup from this restaurant. Simple but really delicious. The soup itself is firing, Taiwanese mixed with Cantonese style, where authenticity and creativity meet together. As a person who travelled across Canada to Asia, this is definitely the best soup noodle I have ever have. And the owners are really nice and warming, absolutely the ceiling of a family style restaurant. If you are looking for incredible Asian cuisine, this would be a must-go place. ”

“ Eric (the owner) is so kind and caring and genuinely loves what he does. I was a guest artist here and he let me have full use of the patio and kept me fed with amazing food and drinks. This guy is dedicated to his community. Worth all the support. ”
